Membership List [March 2006]

The Association shall consist of the following classes of membership:

Honorary Fellows, Fellows, Members and Associate Members of the Association may use abbreviated distinctive titles to indicate the class of the membership after their names.

Remarks: Any member who reaches the age of 60 is entitled to have 50% discount of full annual subscription.

Honorary Fellow [HonFHKRSAA]

HonFHKRSAA is an Honorary Member without any voting right. He /she shall be entitled to use “HonFHKRSAA” exclusively after his/her name. Any person who:

- made outstanding contribution to the Association; or

- achieved outstanding performance in the field of safety management and safety auditing.

shall be eligible for the award by the Association as an Honorary Fellow.

Candidate for election to the class of Honorary Fellow shall be supported by six Corporate Members (at least three of them are Fellows) and approved by at least two third of the members of the Executive Committee. Not more than two Honorary Fellows may be elected each year.

Fellow [FHKRSAA]

FHKRSAA is a Corporate Member with voting right. He/she shall be entitled to use “FHKRSAA” exclusively after his/her nameAny person who:

- has been registered as a Safety Auditor under Section 4(1) of the Factories and Industrial Undertakings (Safety Management) Regulation in Hong Kong;

- has been practising in the field of occupational safety for at least 10 years; and- has made an outstanding contribution to the association

Shall be eligible for admission to the Association as a Fellow.

Candidate for election to the class of Fellow shall be supported by four Corporate Members and approved by at least two third of the members of the Executive Committee.

Member [MHKRSAA]

MHKRSAA is a Corporate Member with voting right. He/she shall be entitled to use “MHKRSAA” exclusively after his/her name.Any person who:

- has been registered as a Safety Auditor under Section 4(1) of the Factories and Industrial Undertakings (Safety Management) Regulation in Hong Kong; and

- has been practising in the field of occupational safety for at least 5 years,

shall be eligible for admission to the Association as a MemberCandidate for election to the class of Member shall be approved by at least tow third of the members of the Executive Committee.

Associate Member [AMHKRSAA]

AMHKRSAA is a Non-corporate Member with voting right. He/she shall be entitled to use “AMHKRSAA” exclusively after his/her name.

Any person who:

- achieved outstanding performance in the field of safety management and safety auditing.

shall be eligible for admission to the Association as an Associate Member.

Candidate for election to the class of Associate Member shall be approved by at least two third of the members of the Executive Committee.

Affiliate

Affiliate is a Non-corporate Member without voting right.

Any person who is interested in the field of occupational safety shall be eligible for admission to the Association as an Affiliate.

Candidate for election to the class of Affiliate shall be approved by at least two third of the members of the Executive Committee.
